Retainers are used to maintain the optimal position of your teeth after treatment with Braces.

Retainers keep teeth in their corrected position while the bones, muscles and ligaments adapt to the new position. There are several types of Retainers available. The most common are:

Clear Retainer - this popular Retainer is used for the upper front teeth; the Clear Retainer is worn while you sleep.

Plate Retainer - the Plate Retainer is used on either the upper or lower teeth to ensure teeth do not shift out of position after Orthodontic treatment.

Bonded Retainer - this Retainer is often used behind the lower front teeth. The Bonded Retainer may be glued permanently in place to prevent tooth movement after Orthodontic treatment.
